One Good Hand

         Oregon poker club was founded in 2010 by Robert Wenndorf and Christopher McKennett. It was formed in order to offer a social, safe and affordable place for club members to gather and play Texas holdem. Oregon poker club started as a one table club offering social gaming 3 days a week. It remained that size for the first year until finally in year two the club started getting more members. Over the years the club has grown and contracted but our location at Claudias has been a constant.

        That first year we had 40 members and by year three we had over 400 members. Currently we have over 600 registered members and are growing every day. By 2016 Robert had some health issues and had to leave day to day club mangement but remains a board member and active player today. Without his hard work and persistence the club would not exist.

       At the end of 2016 the club decided to officially become a nonprofit mutual benefit club for its members. Because of this we are able to keep the memberships fees the membership fees low and the games affordable and social.

       We are constantly working on trying to offer the members the services they desire while maintaining the social, safe, fun and affordable aspects of the club.

      As the club president I just want to thank all the members for the help and participation that they give and know that it is always fun meeting and socializing with all of you.
